Tina Turner
Turner went on to sell out stadiums around the world and release successful studio albums (Break Every Rule, Foreign Affair, Wildest Dreams) and singles, including The Best and I Don't Want To Fight, from the soundtrack to the 1993 film What’s Love Got To Do With It, based on her life (as were a 2018 musical and 2021 documentary, both titled Tina). She was a 2005 recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors and was twice inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame—with Ike in 1991 and as a solo artist in 2021, two years before her death in 2023 at age 83.
