American singer, songwriter, and record producer
Otis Redding was an American singer and songwriter. He worked with Booker T. Jones and Steve Cropper. Redding released Otis Blue (Mono) and Otis Blue/Otis Redding Sings Soul. He is known for his songs (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay, These Arms of Mine and Try a Little Tenderness. Redding influenced generations of singers including Al Green and Leon Bridges. His album The Dock of the Bay was released posthumously in 1968.
