Al Green is an American singer. He signed to Hi Records and began working with producer Willie Mitchell, leading to the release of albums including Gets Next to You and Let's Stay Together. This period also saw the release of I'm Still In Love with You and Call Me. Green has received a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for Funny How Time Slips Away. He established the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Memphis in 1976. His most popular songs include How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, Love and Happiness, and Tired of Being Alone. Green has also appeared in films Beverly Hills Cop III and On the Line.
