Rob Wasserman was an American musician (1952-2016). Wasserman was a longtime member of David Grisman's group, co-founded RatDog with Bob Weir, and had stints with Lou Reed and Elvis Costello. Wasserman released albums including Duets, Solo, and Trios. His most popular songs include Ballad of the Runaway Horse featuring Jennifer Warnes, Stardust featuring Aaron Neville, and The Moon Is Made of Gold featuring Rickie Lee Jones.
