Frankie Carle
American pianist and bandleader (1903–2001)
Frankie Carle was an American pianist and bandleader (1903-2001). He joined Horace Heidt's Musical Knights in July 1939. Carle later formed his own band, The Frankie Carle Orchestra. He released albums including Comes Calling, Frankie Carle at the Piano: The Golden Touch, and Roses in Rhythm. Carle's discography includes songs such as Sunrise Serenade, Oh! What It Seemed to Be, and Rumours Are Flying.
