Chucho Valdés is a Cuban musician. He is a founding member of the musical group Irakere. Valdés has released albums such as Cuba and Beyond with Royal Quartet, I Missed You Too! with Paquito D'Rivera Reunion Sextet, and Mirror Mirror with Chick Corea and Eliane Elias. He has performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente, Arturo Sandoval, Roy Hargrove, and his father Bebo Valdés, and released songs such as You Don't Know What Love Is and Como Traigo La Yuca. Valdés has also appeared in the documentaries History of Jazz: Oxygen For the Ears and Killing Me Softly With His Songs.
