American songwriter (1925–2012)

Robert B. Sherman was an American songwriter (1925-2012). Together with his brother, he scored Aristocats and Snoopy, Come Home. He received the Academy Award for Best Original Song for Chim Chim Cher-ee and the Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media for Mary Poppins - Original Cast Soundtrack. He and his brother also scored The Jungle Book.  His most popular songs include It's a Small World, written along with his brother Richard M. Sherman, The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room, and One Little Spark. Robert B. Sherman appeared in the documentary The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story.
