Denny Doherty was a Canadian musician. He released albums with the Halifax Three. He was a member of The Mamas & the Papas. Doherty formed the folk rock band the Mugwumps with Zal Yanovsky, Cass Elliot,James Hendricks, and John Sebastian. He released solo albums By Himself, Waiting For A Song, and Watcha Gonna Do. He appeared in the series Pit Pony. Doherty passed away in 2007.
