

Nicky Hopkins
English pianist and organist
Nicky Hopkins was an English pianist and organist. He played piano on iconic Rolling Stones albums including Let it Bleed and Exile on Main St. His performances on It Hurts Me Too, The Boudoir Stomp, and Waiting for the Band are among his most popular. Hopkins also appeared on releases by The Who, Dusty Springfield, and The Kinks, and joined the Savages, a group led by Screaming Lord Sutch. He was a member of both the Steve Miller Band and The Kinks, and released the albums Revolutionary Piano and The Tin Man Was a Dreamer. Hopkins released other albums, appeared in the documentary The Rolling Stones: Ladies and Gentlemen…the Rolling Stones, and released the album Jamming with Edward! featuring Ry Cooder.
