Sarah Vaughan was an American jazz singer (1924–1990). Immensely popular and respected, she released a large number of albums, including Sarah Vaughan, Vaughan And Violins, and Billie, Ella, Lena, Sarah featuring Billie Holiday, Lena Horne, and Ella Fitzgerald. Her most popular songs include Misty, Make Yourself Comfortable, and Black Coffee. Vaughan appeared in the documentaries Basin Street Revue and Rhythm and Blues Revue.
