Mick Hucknall is an English singer, songwriter, and lead singer of Simply Red. He led Simply Red to international mainstream success with a blend of pop and blue-eyed soul, releasing their debut album Picture Book. Simply Red later released Stars. Outside of Simply Red, Hucknall has released albums Tribute to Bobby and an extended version of Happy This Christmas. He has worked with Van Morrison on Streets of Arklow, collaborated with Joe Perry and Les Paul on I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know, and has one of his most popular songs One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later). Hucknall has also appeared in the film De-Lovely.
