David McCallum was a Scottish actor. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the Royal Academy of Music. He made his American film debut in 1962 and went on to appear in notable films such as The Great Escape alongside Steve McQueen. Earlier in his career, he also starred in A Night to Remember with Sean Connery. On television, McCallum is known for his roles in The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Sapphire & Steel, and NCIS.
