Howard Keel was an American actor and singer. He starred in classic films such as Calamity Jane, Kiss Me Kate, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Jupiter's Darling. Keel also appeared in The War Wagon alongside John Wayne and Kirk Douglas. Beyond his film work, he served as head of the Screen Actors Guild from 1958 to 1959 and recorded several albums. His well-known songs include Some Enchanted Evening, Bless Your Beautiful Hide, and So in Love.
