Ruby Wax is an American comedian. She hosted Ruby between 1997 and 2000 and The Ruby Wax Show in 2002. Wax wrote and published the best-selling memoirs How Do You Want Me? in 2002 and Sane New World in 2013. She gained a master's degree in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy from Kellogg College, Oxford in 2013 and was appointed an Honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2015 Special Honours for services to mental health. Wax has also appeared in films including Romance on the Orient Express, Guardian of the Highlands with Sean Connery, and Tara Road with Andie MacDowell.
