American country music singer
Ferlin Husky started his career in music and film with a role in the musical Mister Rock and Roll. This led to him recording hit songs and starring in Howdy. He released several chart-topping albums, including those which featured crossover hits Gone and Wings of a Dove. He collaborated with Ernest Tubb. Husky's most famous albums are Ferlin Husky: Greatest Hits, Gone but Not Forgotten and Old and New. Husky also appeared in the movies Las Vegas Hillbillys, Hillbillys in a Haunted House and Swamp Girl.
