Ernest Tubb was an American country singer (1914-1984). He released albums such as The Family Bible and Good Year for the Wine, and the compilation The Legend and the Legacy. His most popular songs include Thanks a Lot, Walking the Floor Over You, and Waltz Across Texas. Tubb also appeared in the films Hollywood Barn Dance and Coal Miner’s Daughter.
