Victor Feldman

English recording artist; jazz musician, vibraphonist (1934–1987)

Victor Feldman was a British musician. Upon arriving in America, he played with Woody Herman, Cannonball Adderley, and Peggy Lee. He later played with June Christy, which led to steady session work. From the mid-'70s to early '80s, Feldman contributed to numerous sessions by pop artists including Steely Dan, the Doobie Brothers, Cher, Rickie Lee Jones, Elton John, the Beach Boys, Christopher Cross, and Neil Diamond. He released the album The Arrival of Victor Feldman featuring Scott LaFaro and Stan Levey, which includes popular songs Duffle Coat, S' Posin', and Minor Lament performed with the same rhythm section. Feldman also released Latinsville! and To Chopin With Love with musicians Trevor Feldman and John Patitucci
