Steve Vai is an American guitarist. He released his solo album Passion and Warfare, the extended play Alien Love Secrets, and the album G3: 25th Anniversary Reunion Tour with Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson. Vai has released popular songs including Tender Surrender, For the Love of God, and Bad Horsie. He has worked as a session musician for Joe Jackson, was a member of Whitesnake, and performed with Satriani and Johnson on the G3 tour. Vai appears in the documentaries Hired Gun: Out of the Shadows, Into the Spotlight, Zappa, and the film Crossroads.
