Joe Satriani is an American musician. He released Surfing with the Alien in 1987, which featured the title track. He later released The Extremist. Satriani released an album with Steve Vai and Eric Johnson, backed Mick Jagger in the 1980s, and was a member of Deep Purple in the 1990s. He has appeared in the films Joe Satriani: Live In San Francisco, Joe Satriani: Satchurated-Live In Montreal and Satriani LIVE!.
