American guitarist and singer

Jerry Cantrell is an American guitarist and singer. He is lead guitarist and vocalist of Alice in Chains, becoming the band's frontman following the death of co-vocalist Layne Staley in 2002. Cantrell has released solo albums including Boggy Depot, Degradation Trip, Vols. 1 & 2, and I Want Blood. His most popular songs include Cut You In, My Song, and Anger Rising. He has also appeared in the documentary Turn It Up!: A Celebration of the Electric Guitar.
