Tony Allen was a Nigerian drummer and composer (1940-2020). He released the albums Film of Life, Tony Allen JID018 with Adrian Younge, and LA BOA MEETS TONY ALLEN with La BOA. Allen also worked with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Hugh Masekela, and Oumou Sangaré. ALE and PATAS ARRIBA are among Tony Allen’s most popular songs. He passed away in 2020.
