

Richard M. Sherman
Richard M. Sherman was an American composer. He wrote It's a Small World with his sibling Robert B. Sherman. He also scored Aristocats and wrote the music for Snoopy, Come Home. With his brother, Sherman released the Grammy- and Academy Award-winning score for Mary Poppins with Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews, which included the Academy Award-winning song Chim Chim Cher-ee. He also wrote the music for The Jungle Book with his sibling Robert B. Sherman and George Bruns. His other popular songs include The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room from the attraction The Enchanted Tiki Room, and One Little Spark from the attraction Journey into Imagination with Figment. Sherman appeared in the documentaries The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story and Richard M. Sherman: Songs of a Lifetime. He passed away in 2024.
