Robert Lopez is an American songwriter of musicals. He formed a songwriting partnership with his wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Robert Lopez wrote Let It Go from Frozen, winning the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2014 and the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media in 2015. Lopez has scored the albums Frozen and Frozen 2 with Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, and The Book of Mormon with Trey Parker and Matt Stone. He has written popular songs including All Is Found and Agatha All Along. Lopez made history in 2018 by becoming the first person to complete an EGOT twice. He appears in the documentary The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic and the film Entropy.
