American actress and singer
Idina Menzel is an American actress and singer. After making a name for herself in Broadway productions of Rent and Wicked (for which she won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical), she transitioned into movies. Her film credits include Rent, Enchanted, Frozen and Frozen 2 where she voiced Elsa, Uncut Gems where she worked with Adam Sandler, Cinderella, and Disenchanted.
On TV she's best known for playing Shelby Corcoran on the musical television series Glee from 2010 to 2013. She also appeared in the series Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2. She won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Special for Recipe for Change: Standing up to Anti-Semitism.
Menzel has released several notable albums, including Frozen featuring Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff, Wicked with Kristin Chenoweth and Joel Grey, and Frozen 2 with Kristen Bell and Evan Rachel Wood. Her most popular songs include the Top 5 hit Let It Go, One Short Day with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, and Into the Unknown with AURORA.
