Experience the dazzling close-out of the pop dynamo’s electrifying world tour. At the tail end of 2025, pop megastar Dua Lipa closed out her year-long Radical Optimism Tour in Mexico City, performing to a cumulative audience of almost 200,000 people across three sold-out stadium shows. The Live from Mexico album—which accompanies a concert film of the same name—seeks to replicate the scale of that experience: 138 minutes of glossy, polished dance-pop featuring tracks from the singer-songwriter’s 2024 album, Radical Optimism, alongside some of her most well-known chart smashes. Kicking off with the high-intensity hit “Training Season”, Lipa rips through a breathlessly uptempo set list that largely remains faithful to the original arrangements with effortless poise. Tracks from Radical Optimism—an album that generally left more breathing space in the production—sound fuller here, punched up to match the maximalism of her self-titled 2017 debut and the Grammy-winning 2020 follow-up, Future Nostalgia. The sole exception, a stripped-back version of deep cut “Anything for Love”, slows the relentless energy all the way down to draw out phone-torches and lighters from the crowd. Other highlights include a lively cover of “Oye Mi Amor”by Mexican rock band Maná (performed as a duet with singer/guitarist Fher Olvera) and a hard-hitting rendering of Lipa’s breakthrough single “New Rules”, powered by momentum-building drum fills. By the time she finally signs out for the night with the definitive refrain “catch me or I go Houdini”, there’s nothing left but to feel thankful that this recording, at least, will stick around forever.
