Pete Townshend is a British musician. He was the principal songwriter and guitarist of English rock band The Who. Townshend has released albums including All the Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes, Empty Glass, and White City: A Novel. His most popular songs include Let My Love Open the Door, Rough Boys, and Slit Skirts. He has appeared in documentaries such as Bad Reputation, The Who: Live In Texas '75, and Woodstock - 3 Days of Peace & Music.
