Elle Fanning is an American actress. She appeared in the films Maleficent, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Super 8, A Complete Unknown, and We Bought a Zoo. Fanning also portrayed Empress Catherine II in the Hulu series The Great across its three-season run from 2020 to 2023 and starred in the limited series The Girl From Plainville in 2022 as well as the Apple TV series Margo's Got Money Troubles.
