American pop singer, songwriter, and actor (1913–2007)

Frankie Laine was an American pop singer, songwriter, and actor (1913-2007). He sang theme songs to Western movies, including Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and Rawhide. His most popular songs include Rawhide, High Noon (Do Not Forsake Me), and The Cry of the Wild Goose. Laine released the albums You Gave Me a Mountain, Hell Bent For Leather!, and Round-Up with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and Erich Kunzel. He also appeared in the film Meet Me In Las Vegas, among others.
