Yoshiki is a Japanese musician. He was a member of the heavy metal band X JAPAN and pursued a solo career, releasing several classical studio albums including Yoshiki Classical. Yoshiki composed and performed a classical song at a celebration honoring the tenth anniversary of Emperor Akihito's enthronement. Among his most popular songs are Red Swan and Black Diamond Symphony. Yoshiki was among the first Japanese artists to be honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. He also appeared in the documentary film We Are X.
