Joe E. Brown was an American actor (1891-1973). He appeared in films such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Earthworm Tractors, Show Boat, and The Comedy of Terrors. Brown also starred in Some Like It Hot alongside Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis, where he delivered the famous line "Well, nobody's perfect." He enjoyed lengthy careers in both motion pictures and radio, becoming one of the most popular American comedians of the 1930s and 1940s.
