Kenny Brown

American blues slide guitarist

Kenny Brown is an American blues slide guitarist. He released Cheap Fast and Dirty with Troels Jensen, followed by Goin' Back to Mississippi and Stingray. Brown worked with R.L. Burnside and played with Jon Spencer's punk blues band alongside Burnside. Before his partnership with R.L. Burnside, he also collaborated with George ‘Mojo’ Buford, Mississippi Fred McDowell, and Johnny Woods. Brown's most popular songs include Miss Maybelle, If Down Was Up, and You Don't Know My Mind. He appears in the documentary American Mileage.
