D'Atra Hicks is an American actress and singer. She released her self-titled album in 1989. Hicks then began her professional association with Tyler Perry, performing in his touring stage productions including Laugh to Keep from Crying, What's Done in the Dark, and Madea's Family Reunion. She has also appeared in television series such as Your Husband Is Cheating On Us alongside Ginuwine.
