Connie Boswell was an American singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, and actress. Boswell recorded a jazz album with Billy Butterfield, Miff Mole, and Jimmy Lytell. She released the albums Connee Boswell Sings Irving Berlin, Miss Connee Boswell Sings Irving Berlin - A Golden Anniversary Tribute, and Singing the Blues. Boswell appeared in the films Syncopation and Swing Parade of 1946. Her most popular songs included I Cover the Waterfront, Lullaby of the Leaves, and Basin Street Blues.
