Bryan Sutton is an American musician. After being the guitarist for Ricky Scaggs' band Kentucky Thunder, he released his solo debut album Ready to Go in 2000 and went on to release its followups Bluegrass Guitar, Not Too Far from the Tree, Almost Live, Into My Own, and The More I Learn. Sutton's most popular songs include Whippersnapper, Shady Grove, and The High Road. Sutton has worked with artists including Dolly Parton, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, and Brad Paisley. He appears in the documentary HEIRLOOM: Guitar.
