Mitch Easter

American musician and record producer

Mitch Easter is an American musician and record producer. He was a member of the power-pop band Sneakers in the 1970s and fronted the band Let's Active in the early-to-mid-1980s. Easter released his first solo album Dynamico in 2007. His most popular songs include 1 1/2 Way Street, Time Warping, and Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time). Easter has produced albums for Game Theory and R.E.M. and appears in the documentaries R.E.M. by MTV and Thank You, Friends: Big Star's Third Live… and More.
