Mark O'Connor is an American fiddle player. He has released albums including America on Strings, Midnight On the Water, and The New Nashville Cats. O'Connor has appeared on numerous albums and collaborated with Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer, James Taylor, Chris Thile, Alison Krauss, and Marin Alsop. He released the songs The Devil Comes Back to Georgia, Fisher's Hornpipe featuring Yo-Yo Ma and Alison Krauss, and Hard Times Come Again No More featuring James Taylor and Yo-Yo Ma.
