Jonathan Richman is an American musician. He founded the influential proto-punk band The Modern Lovers. He later founded Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers. His most popular songs include Roadrunner, Egyptian Reggae, and I Was Dancing in the Lesbian Bar. He appears in the Apple Original Film The Velvet Underground.
