Sheldon Harnick was an American lyricist and songwriter (1924-2023). He co-wrote the music for the Broadway musical Fiddler on the Roof with Jerry Bock, and released the Broadway cast recording album titled Fiddler on the Roof and the Broadway cast recording of the musical She Loves Me. His score for Tenderloin appeared in 1960. He appeared in the documentaries Fiddler: A Miracle of Miracles and Fiddler's Journey to the Big Screen.
