American musician

Chris Hillman is an American musician. He was a founding member of The Byrds, pioneers of folk-rock, and joined the band as their bassist in 1964. After The Byrds disbanded in 1968, Hillman formed the Flying Burrito Brothers with Gram Parsons. He released albums Bidin' My Time, Desert Rose, and Sweetheart Of The Rodeo 50th Anniversary with Marty Stuart and Roger McGuinn. Hillman's popular songs include Wildflowers, Step On Out, and My Back Pages. He appears in the documentary David Crosby: Remember My Name.
