T.S. Monk

American jazz drummer

T.S. Monk is an American jazz drummer. His father was jazz pianist Thelonious Monk. He released the albums House of Music, More of the Good Life, and Two Continents One Groove. His most popular songs include Bon bon vie (Gimme the Good Life) and Candidate for Love. Monk formed his own sextet with stable personnel since the late 1980s and has played with the band Natural Essence. He established the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz and appears in the documentary Thelonious Monk: Straight No Chaser.
