Clark Terry

American musician

Clark Terry was an American swing and bebop trumpeter. He performed with the big bands of Charlie Barnet and Duke Ellington, as well as Count Basie's orchestra and small groups from 1947 to 1951.  His most popular songs include Swahili, Donna Lee, and In a Mist. He appeared in the documentaries Keep on Keepin' On and Miles Davis: The Miles Davis Story.
