

Al Kooper
American songwriter, record producer and musician
Al Kooper is an American songwriter, record producer, and musician. He formed the bands Blood, Sweat & Tears and The Blues Project, played the organ part in Bob Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone, and produced Lynyrd Skynyrd's first three records. Kooper signed the Zombies to Columbia Records and released Kooper Session with Shuggie Otis. He also released Super Session featuring Michael Bloomfield and Stephen Stills, and The Live Adventures of Mike Bloomfield and Al Kooper with Michael Bloomfield. Among his popular songs are Albert's Shuffle. He appears in the documentary Horn From the Heart: The Paul Butterfield Story.
