

Eric Burdon
English singer
Eric Burdon is an English singer. He was the lead singer of the British band The Animals, with whom he released albums such as The Animals. In the early 1970s, Burdon formed a backing band with L.A. soul/funksters who became known as War. Together they released the albums Eric Burdon Declares War and The Black-Man's Burdon. This collaboration yielded one of his most popular songs, Spill the Wine.
Burdon has also released solo albums, including Survivor and I Used to Be an Animal. He appears in the documentaries Born in Chicago, Calling All Earthlings and Melody Makers.
