Antônio Carlos Jobim was a Brazilian musician and composer. He worked with guitarist João Gilberto in the late '50s and released the albums The Composer of Desafinado, Plays, and The Astrud Gilberto Album with Astrud Gilberto. Jobim then collaborated with Frank Sinatra on Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim, appeared on Wave, and worked with Elis Regina on Elis & Tom. He released Miucha & Tom Jobim, Vol. 1 with Miúcha and received a Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album for Antonio Brasileiro. Jobim's most popular songs include The Girl from Ipanema and Corcovado (Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars).
