American singer-songwriter
Amy Helm is an American singer-songwriter. She is the daughter of legendary musician Levon Helm and singer-songwriter Libby Titus. Helm is a founding member of the alt-country collective Ollabelle and was a backing musician in her father Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble band. She performed and recorded for years before launching her solo career in her forties, releasing the albums Didn't It Rain, Silver City, and What the Flood Leaves Behind. Her most popular songs include Money On 7, Rescue Me, and Breathing. Helm appears in the documentary Ain't in It for My Health: A Film About Levon Helm.
