Elvin Bishop
American musician
Elvin Bishop is an American blues and rock musician. He was a member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band before pursuing a solo career and releasing albums including 1972's Rock My Soul and 1975's Struttin' My Stuff. Bishop's most popular songs include Fooled Around and Fell in Love, Travelin' Shoes, and Spend Some Time.
Through the decades, Bishop has continued to release music and collaborate with artists including Charlie Musselwhite, with whom he released the 2020 album 100 Years of Blues. Bishop was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and also the Blues Hall of Fame as a solo artist.
