Paul Whiteman was an American jazz musician and popular bandleader. Whiteman released albums such as Presenting Paul Whiteman, The Chronological Classics 1928-1929 featuring Bix Beiderbecke, and The Modern American Music of Ferde Grofé with Ferde Grofé and The Beau Hunks Saxophone Soctette. His most popular songs include Changes, You Took Advantage of Me with Bix Beiderbecke, and Smoke Gets in Your Eyes. Whiteman appeared in the documentary The Fabulous Dorseys and the film Strike Up the Band with Judy Garland.
