Mason Williams is an American guitarist, composer, singer, writer, comedian, and poet. He wrote the theme song for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. For his work as a comedy writer on the show, he won an Emmy Award in 1969. His albums include Classical Gas featuring Mannheim Steamroller, Of Time & Rivers Flowing, and The Mason Williams Phonographic Record. Williams appears in the documentaries Banjos, Bluegrass, And Squirrel Barkers and California Typewriter.
