British rock musician (born 1939)
Ian Hunter is a British rock musician. He established himself as a songwriter with Mott the Hoople in the early 1970s and embarked on a solo career in the mid-’70s, gaining success on American rock radio. Hunter released the albums Ian Hunter, You're Never Alone with a Schizophrenic, and Defiance Part 2: Fiction. One of his most popular songs, Cleveland Rocks, later became the theme song to The Drew Carey Show. Among his other popular songs are Good Man In a Bad Time and Once Bitten, Twice Shy. Hunter has continued to write, record new albums, and tour into the 2020s.
