Ed Lover is an American rapper and host. He was part of the popular MTV hip-hop duo that hosted Yo! MTV Raps from 1988 to 1995. With his co-host Doctor Dré, Lover released the 1994 album Back Up Off Me!, which included popular songs such as Back Up Off Me! and Who's the Man featuring Notorious B.I.G. Since, he has appeared in various films and television shows, including Double Platinum, The Hustle, and The Nineties. In 2018, Lover began hosting a hip-hop radio morning show in Chicago.
